[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 6일 의정부시 송산2동 통장협의회가 ‘2021년 하반기 아름다운 나눔인’으로 선정되어 의정부시장 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

송산2동 통장협의회는 매년 100일간 사랑릴레이 기간마다 100만 원씩을 기부해 왔으며, 청소년 장학금 후원, 독거노인 반찬 나눔 서비스, 사랑의 김장 나눔, 어르신 빨래 및 말벗 서비스 등 이웃돕기 행사와 나눔 사업을 펼쳐 왔고, 또한 사회적 고립의 위기가구를 발굴하고 다양한 민간 자원 연계를 활성화해 폭넓은 복지서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 적극 노력해왔다고 했다.

강경자 송산2동 통장협의회 회장은 “따뜻하고 살기 좋은 송산2동을 만들기 위해 묵묵히 힘써준 회원들의 노고가 인정을 받은 것 같아 무척이나 기쁘고 감격스럽다”며 “회원들에게 감사와 모든 영광을 돌리고 싶다. 앞으로도 이웃을 위한 세심한 배려와 나눔으로 지역복지 발전을 위해 더욱 정진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
