[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 난방비 대란으로 위기를 맞은 어르신들의 관내 경로당 105개소에 난방비를 긴급 지원한다고 밝혔다.

이에 태백시는 잇따른 기록적 한파와 난방비 폭등으로 인해 경로당을 이용하는 어르신들의 가중된 부담을 최소화할 수 있도록 추가지원을 결정했다.

한편 태백시는 독거노인 및 어르신 사회적약자 취약계층을 위해 모든 행정력을 동원하여 노인 복지 태백의 실현을 위해 노력을 기울이고 있다.
