경로당 이용은 코로나19 예방백신 3차 접종을 완료한 어르신만 가능하고 3차 접종을 완료했더라도 실내·외에서 마스크는 반드시 착용해야 하며 칸막이 설치 또는 띄어 앉기 등 방역수칙 준수하에 제한적으로 식사를 허용하며, 운영 재개를 위해 경로당 개관 전 청소와 방역을 실시하는 등 사전준비에 나서는 한편 어르신의 안정적인 일상회복이 이루어 질 수 있도록 경로당 이용·방역수칙과 60세 이상 어르신의 백신 4차 접종을 함께 홍보할 계획이라고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “경로당 재개가 코로나19로 인한 어르신들의 스트레스와 우울감을 해소하는데 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “안전한 일상회복을 위하여 방역 관리도 철저히 할 계획”이라고 말했다.
