[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 민선 8기 첫 조직개편안이 제320회 춘천시의회 상임위원회를 통과했다고 전했다.

춘천시에 따르면 민선 8기 조직개편안은 지난 7월 29일부터 8월 18일까지 20일간 입법 예고 기간을 거쳤다.

이 기간 접수된 27개 단체, 시민 및 부서의 의견을 반영해 최종안을 확정하고 제320회 춘천시의회에 상정했으며, 이번 조직개편은 민선8기 시정 비전과 7대 목표 및 목표별 과제의 효율적 추진을 위해 마련했다. 

이를 위해 부서신설과 유사 업무 부서통합, 산발적인 TF팀을 관련부서로 흡수하고, 업무성격이 상호 유사한 부서를 동일 국 내 구성, 국·과 명칭을 시민 누구나 이해하기 쉬운 명칭으로 변경하는데 중점을 뒀다.

먼저 행정기구와 정원은 현재와 동일하게 유지되며, 이는 자치단체 기준 인력을 현 수준에서 동결한다는 행정안전부의 2022년 지방조직 관리 방향에 맞췄다.
