[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 6월 25일 북부지방산림청은 국립횡성숲체원에서 국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체 구성원 10여명이 함께 모여 ‘맨발걷기 행사’를 위한 봉사활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체는 「국가 산림복지서비스 권역별 협의체 구성ㆍ운영에 관한 규정」에 따라 산림복지서비스 제공 업무에 대한 효율적인 정보 공유와 기관 간 유기적인 협력체계를 강화하기 위하여 구성ㆍ운영된 국가 산림복지서비스 권역별 협의체 중의 하나라고 했다.

국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체 구성원은 북부지방산림청, 5개 국유림관리소, 국립자연휴양림관리소 북부지역ㆍ동부지역팀, 춘천ㆍ횡성 숲체원, 양평치유의숲, 하늘숲추모원으로 구성되었으며, 기관 간 협력과 산림복지서비스의 활성화를 위하여 반기별 1회 이상 정기회의를 개최한다고 했다.

이에, 지난 3월 상반기 회의에 논의되었던 맨발걷기 행사의 지원을 위해 함께 모여 맨발 걷기 행사장 노면정비와 60세 이상 사회적 노약자를 대상으로 걷기 도우미 역할수행을 했다고 전했다.

최수천 북부지방산림청장은 “이번 모임을 토대로 국가 산림복지서비스 수도권 협의체가 실내에서뿐만 아니라 현장에서도 생각과 행동을 나눌 수 있는 계기가 되었으며, 앞으로 서로 긴밀하게 공조하고 상호유기적인 관계로 국민에게 양질의 산림복지서비스 제공을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
