[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 23일 생연·중앙 도시재생 주민협의체 주거지정비분과는 관내의 카페업체인 코홀트 프로덕트와 함께 원도심 내 지역 어린이를 위해 선물나눔행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

본 선물나눔행사는 코홀트 프로덕트에서 작년에 이어 성탄절을 즈음하여 간식상자를 기탁하고 싶다는 의견을 전달한 가운데, 주거지정비분과에서도 좋은 행사에 뜻을 보태고 싶다는 의견을 전달하며 과자 및 장난감꾸러미를 더하여 추진된 행사라고 했다.

코홀트 프로덕트 이상국 대표는 “모두의 안전을 위해 몸은 멀어졌지만 마음만은 가까이하는 행복한 크리스마스가 되었으면 좋겠다는 취지로 작년에 이어 원도심 내 어린이들을 위한 간식상자를 전달하게 되었다”고 밝혔다. 

이종림 분과장은 “코로나19로 인해 더욱 힘든 시기에 지역에 힘이 되는 응원을 하고 싶었다”며 “내년에도 지역사회에 작지만 보탬이 될 수 있는 나눔 활동을 이어나갈 수 있도록 노력 하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.
