[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 23일 동두천시 생연2동행정복지센터는 생연2동에 위치한 좋은열매어린이집 원생들로부터 정성스레 포장된 양말 80켤레를 기부받았다고 밝혔다. 

좋은열매어린이집은 재작년부터 올해까지 3년째 선행을 실천하며 더불어 사는 생연2동 만들기에 적극 동참하고 있으며, 이날 기부 받은 양말은 성탄절을 맞아 원생들이 직접 쓴 편지와 함께 정성스럽게 포장된 상태로 전달되어 겨울철 취약 주거지역에 거주하는 어르신들에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

김일 생연2동장은 “매서운 추위 속에서 따뜻한 이웃 사랑을 전해준 좋은열매어린이집 원생들에 감사함을 표하며 전달받은 양말은 추운 겨울을 힘들게 지내고 계실 취약계층 어르신들께 꼬마 산타들의 마음과 함께 잘 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
