[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 16일 양주시 드림스타트는 ㈜이마트 양주점에서 크리스마스를 맞아 관내 취약계층 아동의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위한 희망꾸러미 400상자를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

‘이마트 희망꾸러미’사업은 촘촘한 복지안전망을 구축하고 적극적인 복지서비스를 실현하고자 양주시사회복지협의회와 경기도사회복지협의회가 주관하고 ㈜이마트 양주점이 함께 추진한 사회공헌사업이며, 희망꾸러미는 장갑, 귀마개, 넥워머, 양말, 핫팩, KF94 마스크, 각종 식료품 등으로 구성됐고, 긴급가정, 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층 아동가정 등 관내 취약계층 400가구에 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 후원을 통해 아동들이 따뜻한 크리스마스를 보낼 수 있도록 적극 지원해주신 이마트 양주점에 감사의 말씀을 드린다”며“앞으로도 취약계층 아동들이 많은 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 지속적으로 다양한 자원을 발굴하고 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고자 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
