[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 22일 의정부시는 안전교통건설국 도시철도과 윤이삭 주무관이 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴잇기 운동 창구에 성금 500만 원을 기탁하고 의정부시 나눔리더 21호로 가입했다고 밝혔다.

나눔리더는 사회복지공동모금회에서 나눔문화를 선도하기 위해 실시하고 있는 기부사업의 일환으로 1년 내에 기부금 누적액 100만 원을 초과하는 개인 기부자가 가입할 수 있는 프로그램이라고 했다. 

윤이삭 주무관은 2013년도 1월 하수시설운영과에 임용되어 첫 근무를 시작했으며, 현재는 지난 2018년도 1월부터 도시철도과에 근무 하고 있고, 공직생활을 계속 하면서도 자신의 꿈을 이루기 위해 2020년 해외 유학을 계획하고 있었으나 코로나-19로 인해 불가피하게 유학을 취소하며 돌려받은 유학 자금을 어려운 이웃을 위한 성금으로 기탁하기 위해 복지정책과를 방문했다고 전했다.

윤 주무관은 “500만 원을 보람있게 사용할 방법을 고민하다가 몇 년 전에 탈북민 모자가 아사한 사건이 발생한 것에 충격을 받고 코로나-19로 각박하고 힘든 상황에 놓인 우리 주변 복지사각지대의 취약계층을 위해 쓰이는 편이 뜻깊을 것 같아 기부를 결심했다.”고 말했다.

윤교찬 복지국장은 쉽지 않은 결정을 통해 큰 금액의 기부를 결심한 윤이삭 주무관에게 감사를 표하며 “윤 주무관의 선한 영향력이 작은 물결이 되어 다음 나눔리더의 탄생으로 널리 퍼지기를 기대하며 기탁된 성금은 의정부시의 복지사각지대 취약계층을 위하여 귀하게 사용하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
