캠페인은 홍천읍 내 청소년들의 출입이 잦은 편의점과 일반음식점, 노래방 등을 중심으로 진행했으며, 청소년 유해환경 OUT 리플릿과 술·담배 판매 가능 연령이 기재된 스티커를 배부했고, 또 청소년 출입·고용 제한 준수와 담배·주류 판매 금지를 당부하는 홍보와 지도·단속, 위기청소년 발견시 계도 및 보호 연계조치를 위한 안내도 병행했다고 전했다.

군 관계자는 “청소년들이 유해환경에 노출되지 않도록 지속적인 지도활동을 전개하겠다”며 “청소년들이 안전하고 건전한 환경 속에서 성장할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 캠페인은 음주·흡연 및 거리배회 청소년 일탈행위를 차단하고 지역 내 유해업소 업주의 청소년 보호의식 확산을 위해 실시됐다고 밝혔다.
