[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 26일 포천시는 겨울방학 지방행정체험 참여 학생들에게 시정 전반에 대한 폭넓은 참여 기회를 제공하기 위해 학생 3명을 선발해 일일 명예시장 ‘한양대 김보미’, 부시장 ‘광주교육대 이광원’, 자치행정국장 ‘한국폴리텍 하리나’으로 위촉했다고 밝혔다.

선정된 일일 명예시장·부시장·자치행정국장은 포천시장·부시장·자치행정국장과 위촉식, 간담회를 진행하고 의회 및 업무협약식 참석, 결재과정 참관 등 행정·시정업무를 하루 동안 체험했다고 전했다.

일일 명예시장 등은 학생 지방행정체험 기간 중 학생들이 작성한 연구과제의 평가 우수자 중 희망자로 선발했으며, 1월 27일 지방행정체험단 간담회 시 연구과제 발표와 일일 명예시장 소감 발표를 함께 진행할 예정이라고 했다.

일일 명예시장인 김보미 학생은 “이번 경험을 하게 되어 무척 영광스럽고 시민을 항상 최우선으로 생각하는 포천시의 노력을 가까이서 느낀다. 포천시의 자랑스러운 시민이 되기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 소감을 말했다.
