경규환 위원장은 “코로나19로 인해 노인복지관이 휴관임에도 불구하고, 적극적으로 중앙동 노인 취약가구를 위해 협약에 임해주셔서 감사드리며, 지역사회보장협의체의 특화사업으로 복지그늘을 놓치지 않고 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다. 
 

이춘우 동장은 “중앙동은 노인가구가 차지하는 비중이 높은데, 공적지원의 한계로 불가피하게 지원대상에서 제외가 되는 취약가구들이 있어 안타까운 사례가 빈번했다. 이번 협약이 소외된 가구를 지원할 수 있는 교두보가 되길 바란다.”고 전했다.
