[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 11일 오전 11시 의정부시자원봉사센터는 농협중앙회 의정부시지부, 경민대학교와 지역사회 자원봉사활동 활성화를 위한 업무 협약식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

의정부시자원봉사센터는 농협중앙회 의정부시지부, 경민대학교와의 업무 협약을 통하여 코로나19 확산으로 인한 농촌인력 부족현상을 해결하기 위해 긴밀한 협조체계를 구축하고, 공동으로 노력함을 약속하였다고 했다.

경민대학교는 농촌인력 지원에 참여를 확대하기 위해 일정시간 참여하는 대학생에게 졸업을 위한 학점을 제공하고 모집을 위한 교내 홈페이지, 동아리 등을 활용하여 적극 홍보한다고 말했다.

김인숙 센터장은 코로나19 확산으로 인한 농촌인력 부족 현상에 안타까움을 표하며‘실력·실천·봉사의 삼박자를 갖춘 경민대학교 학생들과 관내 자원봉사자들의 따뜻한 마음으로 농촌인력 부족 현상을 함께 극복하기를 기대한다.’라고 하였다.
