[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 19일 사회복지법인 동두천시사회복지협의회에서는 방역업체인 주식회사 트윈과 업무협약식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

주식회사 트윈은 방역업체로 경기북부지역의 사회복지시설과 취약계층에 방역 및 소독봉사를 꾸준히 진행해 왔으며, 코로나19 극복을 위해 사회복지기관에 방호복 및 덧신, 마스크 등을 기증했고, 사회복지시설에 폐기물 처리 봉사까지 진행하고 있다고 했다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 관내 사회복지시설 및 기관, 취약계층을 위한 지원과 방역활동, 폐기물 처리 봉사 등 다양한 분야에 아낌없는 지원을 해줄 것을 약속했다고 전했다.

주식회사 트윈 서광수 대표는 “포천지역에서 많은 활동을 하고 있지만 나의 고향인 동두천에도 많은 봉사와 기부를 통해 열악한 사회복지시설 및 기관에 도움이 되고 싶다”고 전했다. 

동두천시사회복지협의회 한완수 회장은 “그동안의 크고 작은 나눔에 감사드리며 동두천 사회복지 시설 및 기관에 많은 관심과 나눔을 부탁한다”고 말했다.
