[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 27일 포천시는 1월 4일부터 4주간 진행된 겨울방학 지방행정체험 학생들에게 시정 발전 방향에 대한 열린 의견을 듣고자 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

행사는 코로나19 확산방지를 위해 1, 2부에 걸쳐 진행했으며, 간담회에서는 학생들이 행정에 대한 사고를 확장할 수 있도록 직접 작성한 연구과제 우수자를 시상하고 그 내용을 학생들이 발표하는 시간을 가졌고, 이외에도 지방행정체험에 대한 학생들의 진솔한 소감을 듣는 순서로 진행됐다고 했다.

우수 연구과제로는 선단동행정복지센터에서 지방행정체험을 한 하리나 학생 등 13명이 선정됐으며, 그중 3명은 지난 1월 26일 일일 명예시장·부시장·국장으로도 활동했다고 전했다.

박윤국 시장은 “이번 지방행정체험이 학생들에게 왜 우리가 일상의 모든 일에서 최선을 다해야 하는지에 대해 한 번쯤 생각하게 하는 시간이 되었기를 바란다. 앞으로도 일상에서 언제나 최선을 다하는 학생들이 되어주시길 바란다.”라고 했다.
