[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9일, 태백시는 시청 대회의실에서 중대재해처벌법 시행에 따른 산업안전보건관리 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 경영책임자인 태백시장을 비롯하여 부시장과 국장, 관리감독자로 지정된 전 부서장 등을 대상으로 중대재해처벌법의 이해와 산업안전보건관리 책무에 대한 내용으로 ㈜세이프지 최요한 대표가 진행했다고 전했다.

태백시장은 “생명을 보호하고 다치지 않는 것이 가장 중요하다”며, “근로자와 시민의 생명과 신체를 보호할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 줄 것”을 당부했다.

중대재해처벌법 시행에 따라 시는 각 사업 또는 사업장의 안전‧보건 관리 점검과 근로자 안전보건조치 뿐 아니라 중대산업재해와 중대시민재해 예방에도 만전을 다할 계획이라고 했다.
