[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 20일 양주시 회천2동 행정복지센터는 제4기 지역사회보장협의체 위원 위촉식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 민관 협력을 통해 지역 내 복지 문제를 자체적으로 해결할 수 있도록 사회복지기관 종사자, 사업가, 통장, 종교기관 대표 등 지역의 사회보장증진에 열의가 있는 민간위원 20명에게 위촉장을 수여했다고 전했다.

위촉된 위원은 임기 2년 동안 복지사각지대 발굴과 자원연계, 지역사회 복지 문제해결을 위한 논의, 지역사회 특화사업 추진 등 다양한 역할을 수행하게 되며, 제4기 임원진으로는 위원장에 김선경 위원, 부위원장 고행준 위원, 감사 김경옥 위원, 총무 김수경 위원, 발굴조사분과장 이차복 위원, 나눔지원분과장 이운노 위원, 전문지원분과장 박상빈 위원이 선출됐다고 했다.

김선경 위원장은 “회천2동 지역사회보장협의체가 사각지대에 있는 위기가정을 발굴하는 데 큰 역할을 할 수 있도록 발로 뛰겠다”며 “앞으로 제4기 임원진과 함께 앞장서 어려운 이웃들의 문제해결과 위기가구 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.​
