[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 주민이 주도하여 만들어낸 지역의 행복한 변화를 공유하고 주민자치를 활성화하기 위해 2022년 5개 읍·면 주민자치회에 11개사업 9,900만원의 특화사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

주요 특화사업 내용은 간성읍의 '간성읍성 탐방길로 함께하는 트레킹', '간성읍 벼룩시장', '찾아가는 어르신 스마트폰 활용교육', 거진읍의 '송포리 회전교차로 주민 쉼터조성', 현내면의 '벽화마을 조성 및 문어캐릭터 마을조성', 죽왕면의 '우리동네 보물찾기, 해바라기 공원조성'과 '죽왕면 문화한마당, 경로당 방문 프로그램', 토성면의 '클린하우스 설치 및 분리인력 운영'이라고 전했다.

군은 주민자치 특화사업을 추진할 수 있도록 읍·면 당 2,000만원까지의 인센티브 사업비를 제공할 예정으로 2월중에 보조금을 신청받아 교부 할 계획이라고 했다.

최정석 자치행정과장은 “주민자치회가 주도적으로 참여하는 사업을 발굴하여 주민이 군정의 주체로서 주민자치 활동에 참여하고, 활동할 수 있도록 체계적인 지원을 해나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
