[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 17일, 상면 지역사회보장협의체에서는 특화사업으로 코로나19 장기유행 속 찾아온 추위에 이중고를 겪고 있을 취약계층 11가구에 연탄 3,900장을 전달하였다고 밝혔다.  

상면 지사협 위원들은 마스크 착용 등 방역수칙을 지키며 홀로 사시는 어르신을 방문하여 서승우 민간위원장과 위원들 모두 연탄을 정성스럽게 전달해드렸으며 난방 상태도 확인하는 등 생활여건을 살폈다고 전했다.

이날 연탄구입비용은 상면지사협 특화사업비로 추진되었으며 에너지사각지대에 놓인 관내 취약계층에게 골고루 나눠드려 추위백신을 철저히 하였고 백신효력이 떨어지지 않도록 상면지사협은 항상 이웃을 살피고, 알리고, 보살피는 역할을 충실히 하고자 애쓰고 있다고 했다.  

서승우 민간위원장은 “동절기에 연료 걱정없이 따뜻하게 지내시기를 기원하며 연탄나눔을 추진하게 되었고, 연탄이 활활 타서 심신을 따뜻하게 정화해주듯 상면지사협도 불쏘시개 역할을 하여 복지사각지대가 사라지는 그 날까지 최선을 다하겠다.”는 소감을 밝혔다. 

공공위원장인 위선경 상면장은 “동절기에 가장 필요한 난방연료를 지원하여 따뜻한 겨울나기를 할 수 있게 해주신 상면지사협 위원장님과 위원 분들께 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 앞으로도 민과 관이 협력하여 지역의 다양한 복지욕구와 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 함께 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
