[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 4월 22일 양주시 회천2동 행정복지센터는 지구의 날을 맞아 환경보호 어린이 사생대회 공모전을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모전은 회천2동만의 특별한 탄소중립 프로젝트의 일환으로 탄소중립 실천과 환경보호를 주제로 진행되며 수채화, 풍경화, 포스터 등 그림 형식에 제한 없이 자유롭게 표현하면 된다고 했다.

대기환경과 탄소중립에 관심이 있는 회천2동 만6세이상 초등학생이라면 공모전에 누구나 참여가능하고, 참여방법은 이벤트 카페 게시판에 공모기간 내 그린 그림파일을 첨부하여 게시글을 작성하면 된다고 했다.

공모전은 오는 18일부터 29일까지 12일간 진행되며 출품작 중‘좋아요’를 많이 받은 게시글을 3위까지 선정해 양주시장 표창장을 수여할 예정이라고 했다.

공모전 결과는 오는 5월 2일 개별 유선연락을 통해 안내받을 수 있으며 시상은 5월 6일 진행할 계획이리고 전했다.

홍미영 회천2동장은 “미래의 환경을 누리고 책임질 아이들이 환경보호와 탄소중립에 대해 상상해보고 맑고 아름다운 자연을 보호하는 방법을 생각하고 실천하는 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 회천2동은 오는 4월 28일까지 우리 동네 주변의 숨겨진 명소들을 주민과 함께 공유하는 ‘봄이오는소리’ 이벤트 또한 이번 그림 공모전과 같은 온라인 카페에서 진행하고 있다고 전했다.
