[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 시민이 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 여러 부서에 흩어져 있는 복지서비스(9개 부서, 51개 서비스)를 한 권에 담아 `2022 1촌도시 복지강릉'을 개정하여 발간한다고 밝혔다. 

이 안내서는 취약계층 및 일반시민을 대상으로 지원하는 51개의 복지사업을 올해 변경되는 지원기준과 새롭게 도입되는 사업을 포함하여, 시민이 일상생활에서 필요한 정보를 쉽게 이용할 수 있다. 

특히 올해는 코로나19로 인한 사회적 재난에 대응할 수 있도록 코로나19 생활지원비 지원사업을 추가했고, 청년 마음건강 바우처, 기초생활보장 생계급여(부양의무자 기준 완화), 청년저축계좌, 영아수당 지원사업 등의 다양한 내용을 포함한다고 했다.

또한 매년 안내서에서는 주변의 어려운 이웃을 판단하는 방법과 도움이 필요한 이웃을 신고할 수 있도록 읍면동 및 사업부서 담당자 연락처가 수록되어, 강릉시민과 함께 복지위기가구를 발굴·지원하는데 유용하게 활용할 수 있다고 했다. 

강릉시는 읍면동 및 사회복지시설 등에 이 책을 배포하여 지역주민들의 위기상황에 맞게 복지서비스를 안내할 수 있도록 활용할 계획이라고 전했다.

한승률 복지정책과장은 "앞으로도 복지서비스를 몰라서 신청하지 못하는 일이 생기지 않도록 매년 안내서를 발간할 예정이며, 주민들이 더 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 더 많은 복지사업을, 다양한 전달 방식을 활용하여 안내할 예정" 이라고 말했다.
