[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 11월 7일부터 순차적으로 신규 경로당 5개소를 개소 한다고 밝혔다.

먼저 지난 7일 발한동 관사경로당과 부곡동 돌담경로당을 개소하였고 순차적으로 송정동 늘푸른경로당, 이도동 동해아이파크경로당, 지가동 지상경로당을 개소 할 예정이다.

관사경로당은 건물매입 후 리모델링을 통해 신규 설치하였고, 돌담경로당은 도시재생 사업 일환으로 동해아이파크경로당은 아파트내에 설치하게 되었다.

특히, 이번 신축 경로당은 이용자 의견 반영과 효율적 공간 사용을 위해 붙박이장과 소파 등 제작가구를 설치해 이용자의 만족도를 한층 높였다는 평이다.

조훈석 가족과장은 “이번 신규 경로당 개소를 통해 노인복지시설 확충 및 서비스 질 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
