[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 26일 영북면지역사회보장협의체는 주거환경개선사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 주거환경개선사업은 영북면 경기행복마을관리소의 제보로 시작되어 행복마을관리소와 협업해 노부부 주택의 도배와 장판 교체, 싱크대 타일 교체 등을 진행했다고 했다.

김봉일 위원장은 “경기행복마을관리소의 제보로 주거상태를 확인하니 우리 단체의 도움이 필요할 것으로 판단되었다. 깔끔하고 위생적인 주택이 될 수 있도록 보장협의체에서 할 수 있는 지원을 했다. 앞으로도 지금과 같이 우리 단체의 역할이 필요한 취약한 이웃을 돌보는 데 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.     

영북면 관계자는 “우리 영북면은 지역사회보장협의체와 행정복지센터뿐만 아니라 이제는 영북면 경기행복마을관리소까지 협업해 복지사각지대가 발생하지 않도록 노력하고 있다. 늘 지역을 살피는 많은 분들에게 감사드린다.”라고 마음을 전했다.
