[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북면행정복지센터에서는 북면 행복마을관리소를 지난 6월 20일부터 개소했다고 밝혔다.

이날 문을 연 북면 행복마을관리소는 주거취약지역의 생활밀착형 공공서비스를 제공하는 사업으로, 북면복지회관 2층(북면 목동복지로 36-12)에 설치됐다고 했다.

가평관내에는 원흥리 행복마을 관리소(2020년), 이화리행복마을 관리소(2021)에 이어 세 번째 개소이며, 현재 조종면에도 행복마을관리소 개소를 위해 막바지 리모델링 작업이 한창 진행중이라고 했다.

행복마을 관리소는 마을순찰, 여성 안심귀가, 취약계층 돌봄, 공구대여, 환경개선 등 주민들의 생활 불편 사항을 처리하는 곳으로 마을 곳곳에서 주민과 접촉하며 행정과 주민을 잇는 가교 역할을 할 일종의 동네관리소라고 했다. 

사무원 2명과 행복마을지킴이 8명 등 10명이 매주 월∼금요일 오전 8시부터 오후 10시까지 교대 근무를 한다고 전했다.

남경호 북면장은 “북면 주민들도 접근성이 높은 행복마을관리소에서 다양한 생활 문제를 해결 받을 수 있도록 개소했다.”며 “향후 지속적인 홍보를 통하여 보다 많은 주민들이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
