[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 27일, 평창군은 다문화가족의 안전관리 강화를 위해 ‘찾아가는 안전신문고 교육’을 평창읍 다문화가족지원센터에서 진행했다고 밝혔다.

안전신문고는 일상생활 주변에서 접하는 안전 위험요인을 국민이 간편하게 신고하고 처리결과를 확인할 수 있는 서비스라고 전했다.

이번 교육은 다문화가족, 외국인, 센터 종사자 등을 대상으로 안전신문고 설명, 안전신고 주요 사례 및 절차 안내, 안전신문고 홈페이지 및 영상을 활용한 안전신문고 앱 활용방법 등을 안내하며, 군은 외국인들을 대상으로 진행하는 교육인만큼 안전신문고 관련 외국어가 첨부된 다국어 리플릿 배부를 통해 외국인의 눈높이에 맞춰 실시할 예정이라고 했다. 

아울러 앞으로도 다문화가족, 외국인 등의 안전 취약계층을 대상으로 안전의식 제고와 안전문화 확산을 위해 ‘찾아가는 안전신문고 교육’을 하반기에 추가로 실시할 계획이라고 전했다.

심재호 안전교통과장은 “생활 속 위험 요소를 사전 제거하는 것이 중요한 만큼, 행정에서 살피지 못한 위험 요소들을 시민들께서 안전신문고 앱을 활용하여 적극적으로 신고해 안전한 평창군을 만드는데 동참해주길 바란다.”고 말했다.
