[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시가 장기간 모국방문을 하지 못한 결혼이민여성에게 여행경비를 지원해주는 친정나들이 지원사업에 나섰다. 

올해 지원규모는 모두 25가정으로, 1가정당 3백만 원 한도로 왕복항공료 등 여행경비를 지원한다.

신청자격은 삼척시에 주민등록을 두고 2년 이상 계속 거주하고 있는 다문화가정으로, 최근 2년 이내 모국방문 경험이 없어야 하며, 모국방문과 관련한 지원사업으로 2015년 이후 수혜 사실이 없는 경우 신청할 수 있다. 

다만, 2020년도 다문화가족 친정나들이 지원사업 선정대상자 중 코로나19 등의 이유로 2020년도 이후 모국방문한 사실이 없는 가정을 우대하며, 이 경우 삼척시에 주민등록을 유지하고 있어야 한다.

신청희망자는 구비서류를 지참해 오는 2월 1일~17일까지 주소지 읍·면·동 행정복지센터에 접수하면 되고, 시는 서류검토 및 심사를 통하여 2월 말까지 대상자를 결정하여 통보할 계획이다.

한편, 삼척시에는 2022년 말 기준 다문화가족 288세대가 거주하고 있으며, 시는 지난 2012년부터 코로나19로 인해 사업추진이 어려웠던 2020년 이전까지 모두 141가정에 친정나들이 비용을 지원했다.
