소방청 역시 지난달 27일 오후 2시부로 전국에 ‘벌 쏘임 사고 경보’를 발령한 상황이다. 이 경보는 벌 쏘임 사고 위험지수가 80을 넘을 것으로 예상될 때 발령된다.

실제로 지난해 경기북부 지역에서 벌집 제거 관련 소방 출동 횟수는 총 1만7,324건으로, 이 중 84%(1만4,548건)가 여름철인 7~9월 사이에 집중됐다.
