이번 점검은 군에서 ‘2022년 어린이 놀이시설 지도·점검 계획’을 수립해 조사 점검표에 따라 관리주체가 자체 점검을 한 후, 그 결과를 가지고 표본대상을 선정해 담당공무원과 민간전문가가 합동점검을 진행하며, 대상은 도시공원, 주택단지, 어린이집, 식품접객업소, 놀이제공업소, 공공도서관 등에 설치한 어린이 놀이시설이라고 전했다.

주요 점검사항은 어린이놀이시설 안전관리자 선임 및 안전교육 이수 여부, 월별 안전점검실시 및 기록 보관 여부, 정기시설검사 실시 및 보험 가입 여부 등이며, 아울러 코로나19 방역수칙 준수사항을 추가해 발열 또는 호흡기 증상이 있는 경우 놀이시설 이용을 자제시키고 있는지, 환기와 소독, 인원수 제한 등의 방역수칙을 준수하고 있는지도 적극 점검하고, 점검결과에 따라 현장에서 조치할 수 있는 경미한 사항은 즉시 시정 조치하도록 하며, 보수·보강이 필요한 시설은 시정명령 및 이용금지 등을 통해 안전관리에 철저를 기할 수 있도록 지도할 계획이라고 했다.
