[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 12일부터 18일까지 태백시는 제58회 도서관 주간을 맞아 시립도서관과 산소드림도서관에서 다양한 독서문화 행사를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

도서관 주간은 도서관의 가치와 필요성을 홍보하고 주민들의 도서관 이용을 활성화시키고자 지정되었으며, 매년 한국도서관협회에서 주관하고 전국 공공도서관이 참여하여 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다고 했다.

태백시는 ‘도서관, 책과 당신을 잇다’ 라는 주제로, 코로나19로 단절된 사회관계를 회복하고자 하는 바람을 담아, 나만의 책갈피 만들기, 스마트도서관 대출영수증 추첨, 전자책·오디오북 이용후기 작성자 추첨 등 다채로운 행사를 운영한다고 했다.

또한 도서 대출 권수를 늘려주는 ‘두배로 DAY’ 와 도서자료 연체회원 대출 정지를 면제해주는 ‘연체지우개’  행사가 진행되고, 시립 및 산소드림도서관 1층에서 그림책 원화가 전시된다고 했의며, 기타 자세한 사항은 시립도서관이나 산소드림도서관으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.

태백시 관계자는 “도서관 주간을 맞아 다양한 프로그램을 마련했다.” 며,  “이번 행사들이 도서관과 주민 간 친밀감 형성에 도움이 될 수 있길 바란다” 고 말했다.
