[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부시 자원순환과는 오는 연말까지 건설폐기물 관련 사업장에 대한 지도·점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

의정부시는 불법 및 방치 건설폐기물 발생 근절과 쾌적한 도시환경 조성을 위해 관내 신고된 배출사업장 및 수집·운반업체에 대해 지도·점검하고 건설폐기물법 준수사항을 안내할 방침이다.

주요 점검내용으로는 건설폐기물 처리계획서 적정 이행 여부, 건설폐기물 처리기준 준수 여부, 올바로시스템 적정 입력 여부, 폐기물 처리 대장 관리실태 및 수집·운반업체 허가사항 일치 여부 등이다. 지도·점검을 통해 적발된 사업장에 대해서는 행정처분, 고발 등 관련 법에 따라 조치할 예정이다.

한편, 의정부시는 지난 2022년 건설폐기물 사업장 지도·점검을 통해 2개소에 각각 경고 및 영업정지 1개월, 34개소에 과태료 총 3,460만 원을 부과한 바 있다.

전정일 자원순환과장은 “주로 봄철에 재개되는 건설공사장에 대한 건설폐기물 지도·점검을 강화하여 현장 책임자들의 경각심을 제고하고 불법 및 방치 건설폐기물이 없는 깨끗한 도시환경 조성을 위해 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
