[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 9일부터 화천군 공공 도서관은 ‘8월 독서문화행사’ 참가자 모집에 나서며 본격적으로 하반기 공공 도서관 운영을 시작했다고 밝혔다. 

군은 오는 28일 화천어린이도서관 다목적실에서 ‘일요일&유아영어체육’ 행사를 진행하며 이번 체험은 5~7세 유아와 부모를 대상으로 열리고, 박상원 탐스스포츠 영어체육 원장이 진행하며 오는 19일에는 화천어린이도서관에서 ‘공부머리 문해력 키우기’ 부모교육 특강이 이어지고 강사로는 아이중심 독서교육연구소 ‘책나들이’대표인 김윤정 작가가 참여하며, 지난 9일부터 온라인으로 50명 선착순 신청을 접수한다. 

오는 25~26일에는 화천어린이도서관과 사내도서관에서 독서와 원예를 결합한 ‘플로리스트와 함께 하는 그림책 읽기’ 프로그램이 열리며 초등생과 미취학 아동을 위한 다양한 하반기 독서문화강좌가 오는 12월까지 화천어린이도서관과 사내도서관에서 이어진다. 

화천어린이도서관에서는 ‘키 쑥쑥, 바른 자세 요가’를 비롯해 ‘도전 위인 탐험대’, 종이접기 교실과 창의 인성놀이, 초등미술, 로봇과학 등의 강좌가 마련되며 사내도서관에서는 ‘생각톡톡 스마트 블록’, ‘과학천재 실험왕’, 키즈요가와 키즈쿠팅, 세계문학탐구교실, 독서토론, 한자교실 등의 커리큘럼이 운영된다. 

최문순 화천군수는 “책 읽기 좋은 계절이 다가오고 있다”며 “화천의 어린이들의 독서 뿐 아니라 학부모의 독서교육을 위한 프로그램에도 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
