[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 10월 25일부터 포천시 도서관은 ‘포천 북살롱-벽돌책 함께읽기 6기 프로젝트’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

벽돌책 함께읽기 프로젝트는 사전 신청을 한 참여자가 비공개 SNS에 매일 일정 분량의 독서활동을 인증하면서 참여자간에 독서를 독려하는 방식으로 운영된다고 했다. 

함께 읽을 도서는 러시아의 대문호 도스토예프스키의 대표작 '죄와벌'이고, 죄와 속죄에 대한 다양한 인식들이 서로 갈등하고 교차하며 인간의 내면 깊은 곳에 숨겨진 심리를 파헤치고 있는 '죄와벌'을 함께 읽으며 문학사적으로 위상이 높은 러시아 사실주의 문학을 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회라 여겨진다고 전했다.

벽돌책 함께읽기 6기에 대한 자세한 일정 및 참여방법은 영북도서관 홈페이지 에서 확인할 수 있고, 벽돌책 함께읽기 프로젝트는 현재까지 사피엔스, 페스트, 총균쇠, 모비딕, 코스모스 등을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

벽돌책 함께읽기 프로젝트의 한 참가자는 “벽돌책 프로젝트 덕분에 책과 많이 친해졌다. 혼자 읽기에 부담스러운 두께였지만 일정표에 정해진 분량대로 매일 따라 읽다 보니 두꺼운 책을 끝까지 읽을 수 있었다.”라고 만족감을 전했다.
