이번 활동은 인적안전망의 활동을 독려하고 취약계층의 생활안정을 도모하기 위한 '인적안전망 ↔ 고위험 취약계층 간 1대1 결연' 계획에 따라 추진된 것으로 명예사회복지공무원 1명당 3가구의 취약계층을 방문하였으며, 마스크를 착용하는 등 방역수칙을 지키며 진행되었다고 했다. 

한 어르신은 “경로당에 나가지도 못하고 집에 찾아오는 사람도 없어 적적했는데 이렇게 찾아와 선물도 주고 안부도 물으니 이번 추석은 살 맛 난다”며 고마운 마음을 전했다.

명예사회복지공무원은 “도움의 손길이 필요함에도 지원받지 못하고 있는 분들을 적극적으로 찾아 적절한 복지서비스가 지원될 수 있도록 적극적인 관심을 가지고 활동하겠다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.
