[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 7일 동두천시 불현동 행정복지센터는 동두천 동행실천 봉사단과 복지사각지대 발굴 및 이웃돕기 물품 배송지원과 관련하여 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 업무협약은 불현동 복지위기가구 지원을 위하여 개최됐으며, 동행실천 봉사단은 매월 격주 금요일마다 취약계층 어르신 20가정을 방문하여 밑반찬을 전달하며, 안부를 확인하고, 복지상담을 지원할 예정이라고 했다.

임태수 불현동장은 “먼저 힘든 시기에 봉사를 실천하고 계시는 동행실천 봉사단에 감사드린다. 그간 증가하는 후원물품을 동 복지인력으로만 배부하는데 한계가 있었으나, 동행실천 봉사단과의 협업을 기반으로, 관내 지역복지 향상을 위하여 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
