동두천시는 올해 공공부문 사례관리 연계 및 유관기관과 협력관계를 구축하고 의료과다 이용대상자를 대상으로 의료급여제도 안내와 지속적인 약물오남용 예방교육을 통해 적정의료이용을 유도하여 의료급여 진료비를 절감하는 효과를 거두었으며, 특히 장기입원 대상자 사례관리사업 및 유형별 사례관리의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해 차별화된 맞춤형 사례관리사업을 중점적으로 추진해왔다고 전했다.

동두천시 진영호 복지정책과장은 “앞으로도 의료급여 수급권자의 사례관리를 적극적으로 하고, 신규 대상자를 적극 발굴해 생활이 어려운 수급자가 건강한 삶을 유지하도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
