[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군 치매안심센터는 올해 치매환자 발굴 및 사례관리, 치료연계 등 치매환자의 중증화 진행 예방 등을 충실히 수행한 공로를 인정받아 철원군과 함께 강원도 치매관리사업 우수기관에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

홍천군의 올해 치매환자 등록 관리자수는 1,262명으로, 거동이 불편한 치매환자 217명을 강원대병원과 연계, 원격진료를 통한 투약 치료를 실시하는 등 치매 중증화 예방을 위한 노력에 심혈을 기울였고, 또 한국가스안전공사와 연계, 치매환자 43가구에 가스안전차단기를 설치해 가스레인지 과열로 인한 화재사고 예방에도 앞장섰다고 전했다.

특히 치매로 인해 복합적인 문제가 발생하거나 홀몸 어르신 등의 돌봄 공백을 최소화 하고, 신체·심리·정신·사회·환경적 요구와 관련된 맞춤형 사례관리를 운영했고, 그 결과 센터 내 사례관리 대상자는 368명으로 2021년 목표치인 328명을 지난달 초과 달성했으며, 치매 예방을 위한 건강 걷기를 통해 기부에도 참여할 수 있는 ‘희망 나눔 프로젝트’를 실시해 1,260명의 참여로 약 2억 3,800만보 이상의 공동 걸음수를 기록, 목표의 2배 이상을 초과 달성하는 성과도 올렸다고 했다.
