[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 10일 강원문화재단이 “2022년 예술인 파견지원-예술로 지역사업”에 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 

“예술인 파견지원-예술로 지역사업”은 한국예술인복지재단이 주관하며, 문화체육관광부가 후원하는 사업으로 예술인의 사회적 역할과 가치 확장을 위해 다양한 예술직무영역을 개발하고 사회와의 협업을 기반으로 한 직무를 제공하여 적극적인 예술인복지를 실현하고자 운영하는 사업고, 지난 2021년에는 11개 광역문화재단이 선정됐으며, 강원문화재단은 올해 2년 연속 선정됐다고 했다.

2021년에는 도내 4개의 운영기관(기업 및 마을)과 20명의 예술인을 선정하여 선정 예술인에게는 활동비로 6개월 간 120~140만원 수준으로 지급했다고 했다.  

특히, 양구 박수근 미술관은 예술프로젝트 <양구하다>를 운영, 5인의 예술인이 오랜 시간동안 고착되어 온 양구만의 특성과 문화를 각각의 시선으로 풀어내어 이를 통해 공공미술에 대한 방향성을 제시하는 프로젝트를 진행했다고 했다.

양구의 공공 미술(조형물)을 살펴보는‘공공미술탐사대’와 주민들이 사용하는 숟가락을 모은 작품인‘수저 한 식구’,‘원 스푼’을 전시하였으며 박수근 화백을 모티브로 한 연극 ‘평화의 꿈’을 공연하고 사업 전체를 아카이빙하여 전시로 풀어내 우수사례로 선발됐다고 했다.

2022년도 사업공고는 3월 말 진행될 예정이며, 도내 소재 사업자등록증 또는 고유번호증을 소지한 기관(기업 및 마을)과 예술활동증명을 완료한 지역예술인이면 신청이 가능하고, 궁금한 사항은 문화사업본부 교류협력팀으로 하면 된다고 전했다.

강원문화재단 고성은 문화사업본부장은“지난 2021년에는 참여기관의 적극적인 참여와 예술인들의 협조로 첫 사업임에도 소기의 성과를 올렸다. 올해는 첫 사업을 경험으로 <중간지점>이라는 사업명으로 예술인과 기관(기업 또는 마을) 간 상호 이해와 소통이 가능하도록 적극 지원할 계획이며, 관심 있는 참여기관 및 예술인들의 참여를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
