[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 18일, 양양군의 하나밖에 없는 서점인 대아서점이 양양군 첫번째 백년가게로 인정을 받아 인증 현판식을 열었다고 밝혔다. 

양양읍 남문리에 있는 대아서점은 지난 1982년 개업을 하여 한차례 자리를 옮기면서 40년째 운영중으로  현재 3대 대표예정자인 아들이 경영에 참여하고 있으며, 단순한 서점이 아닌 북콘서트, 양양인 문학아카데미, 양양독서클럽 등을 개최하여 지역 문화공간으로 중요한 역할을 해오고 있다고 했다.

많은 양양군민들에게 향수를 불러일으키는 추억의 장소이면서 여전히 사랑받는 서점으로 점점 사라져가는 소규모서점의 모범사례로 꼽히고 있으며, 백년가게는 우수한 소상공인을 발굴·육성하고 성공모델 확산을 위해 중소벤처기업부와 소상공인시장진흥공단이 인증하는 것으로 30년이상 명백을 유지하면서도 오래도록 고객의 꾸준한 사랑을 받아 온 점포로 일반유흥주점업, 보험 및 연금업, 금융 및 보험관련 서비스업, 법무, 회게 및 세무 등 기타법무관련 서비스업 등은 제외된다고 했다.
