[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시가 주요 현안사업 및 대규모 SOC 등의 차질없는 추진을 위해 내년도 국·도비 확보에 속도를 내고 나섰다.

시는, 지난해 12월부터 부서별 국·도비 사업 발굴 및 국·도비 사업 발굴 보고회를 개최하고, 내년도 국비 확보를 위한 특강 및 컨설팅을 개최했다.

또, 중점 국비사업에 대하여 타당성 및 논거 마련 등 강원도와 중앙부처를 방문해  사전설명과 각종 공모사업 신청 준비를 위해 동분서주 하고 있다.

특히, 시는 무릉별유천지 2단계 재정투입사업을 위해 김규하 부시장을 특별팀장으로 지정하고, 관련부서장 및 팀장 등으로 구성된 무릉별유천지 국·도비 확보 특별팀을 구성했다.

지난 2일 제1차 실무회의를 갖고 무릉별유천지 2단계 재정사업 상황을  공유하는 한편, 협업을 위한 용역컨텐츠 제공과 향후 국비 예산 순기별 대응전략을 함께 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.

이와함께, 묵호항 국제여객터미널 부대시설 일괄 국책사업 반영 논리와 상하수도·교량 등 SOC시설 국비 확보 전략을 마련하는 등 역점및 현안사업 추진을 위한 안정적 국비 확보에 행정력을 집중한다는 방침이다.

한편, 시는 현재까지 신규사업 34건, 계속사업 10건 등 총 44건 3,970억 여원(국비 1,478억 여원)의 국·도비 사업을 발굴 하였다.

심규언 시장은  “주요 사업의 정부예산 확보는 관심과 의지의 따라 달라진다는 점을 마음에 새기고 행복 동해의 미래를 열어가는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
