[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 올해 공모를 통해 보조금 지원 8개, 공간 지원 5개, 총 13개 동아리를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

신청접수는 오는 7일부터 11일까지 방문 접수를 통해 가능하며 지원 자격은 현재 활동 중인 학습동아리(성인 7명 이상)로 강릉시평생학습관 홈페이지 등록 후, 전년도 활동실적(월 2회 이상의 정기적인 활동)이 있는 학습동아리면 신청 가능하다고 했다. 

공모 분야로는“깊이있는 학습”,“전문적인 학습”,“지역 현안 해결”, “봉사 및 재능기부” 4개 분야이며 지원 규모는 보조금 지원은 동아리당 50만 원(자부담 필수)이고 공간 지원은 평생학습관 내 대강당, 소강당, 동아리실, 온라인스튜디오에 해당한다.

한편, 강릉시는 참신한 평생학습 우수 동아리를 발굴하고 지원하기 위하여 매년“평생학습 동아리 활성화 지원사업”을 운영하고 있다.

김은희 평생학습관장은“코로나19로 인해 많은 인원이 참여하는 수업이 제한되는 만큼 다양한 분야 학습동아리의 많은 관심과 참여를 바라며, 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
