[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9월 2일부터 사흘간의 일정으로 코로나19로 지난 2020년부터 중단되었던 배꼽축제가 3년만에 양구 서천 레포츠공원 일원에서 개최된다고 밝혔다. 

올해 배꼽축제의 슬로건은 ‘문화예술축제로 다시 뛰는 청춘양구’로 기존 물놀이 축제 위주였던 배꼽축제를 올해부터 문화예술축제로 전환하여, 군민이 직접 참여하는 군민 중심의 축제로 주민들과 방문객들을 위한 다양한 공연과 체험행사가 진행된다. 

먼저 즐거움을 100X(백 곱) 할 수 있는 100 X LAND(백곱랜드=배꼽랜드)로 평소 쉽게 접할 수 없었던 악기들을 직접 연주해보고 클라리넷 앙상블과 청소년 오케스트라 등 클래식 공연이 열리는 ‘악기마을’ 프로그램과 더불어 동화의 발자취를 따라 오감 체험을 할 수 있는 동화마을, 야간에는 늦더위를 물리칠 귀신의 집 등을 운영하며 육군본부와 해병대, 3군단, 12사단 등의 군악대들이 총출동하는 ‘군악대 퍼레이드 페스타’가 펼쳐져 사흘간 행사장 전체를 축제 분위기로 가득 채울 예정이다.  

행사 첫날 배꼽축제 특설무대에서 라디오 공개방송이 열려 김국환, 최유나, 태진아, 최진희, 조승구를 비롯해 홍원빈, 김단아, 강훈, 현우진, 숙행, 이용주와 윤지성, 하동근, 황우림 등 다수의 가수가 출연하며 오는 3일 오후 2시에는 어린이와 가족 단위 방문객들을 위한 세계적인 그림책 작가 '앤서니 브라운'의 '우리 아빠가 최고야' 뮤지컬이 열리며, 오후 8시부터는 나태주, 최백호, 혜진이의 메인공연이 진행될 예정이고 축제 마지막 날인 4일 오후 2시부터는, 나팔박, 석이정, 이호일의 색소폰연주와 공연이 펼쳐지며, 오후 4시부터는 우리 민족의 애환인 위안부 피해자들의 가슴 아픈 이야기를 그려낸 악극 '꿈에 본 내 고향'이 진행된다.
