[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시 은현면 지역사회보장협의체는 지난 22일 지역 내 취약계층 대상으로 여름맞이 물품지원사업 ‘시원한 나눔’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협의체는 지속되는 폭염으로 무더위에 지친 관내 취약계층 60가구가 시원한 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 선풍기를 전달했다.

박영철 위원장은 “최근 폭염이 지속되면서 무더위에 지친 가구가 조금이나마 시원한 여름을 보낼 수 있으면 좋겠다”며 “앞으로도 항상 주변을 돌아보고 나눔을 적극적으로 실천하겠다”라고 말했다.

김지현 은현면장은 “무더운 여름날 직접 복지사각지대를 발굴하고 물품을 전달해주신 은현면지역사회복지협의체 위원님들께 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “은현면 행정복지센터도 지역사회보장협의체와 협력하여 복지사각지대가 해소되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
