[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  강릉시는 사회적 거리두기 조치가 전면 해제됨에 따라 단체관광을 운영하는 여행업체를 대상으로 관광 활성화를 위해 인센티브 제도를 본격적으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.

포스트 코로나를 대비하여 관광사업체의 지속적인 활성화를 지원하기 위해 단체관광객 유치 인센티브 지원 제도를 꾸준히 운영했으며, 특히 단체관광객 유치 인센티브 지원 제도는 소규모‧개별 관광 추세에 내국인 인원 기준을 20인에서 10인으로 완화함으로써 관광사업체 지원을 더욱 확대하는 방향으로 추진한다고 했다.

단체관광객 유치 인센티브제는 10인 이상의 국내외 관광객을 유치하여 분야별 기준에 따라 숙박 관광을 진행한 여행업체를 대상으로, 1박 기준 내국인 1인당 1만 원, 외국인 1만 5천 원, 2박에 내국인 1만 5천 원 외국인 2만 원을 여행사에 지급하며, 세부적인 지급 기준사항 확인은 시청 홈페이지 고시공고를 참고하거나 강릉시청 관광과에 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
