인센티브는 전국의 숙련되고 우수한 소프트웨어 인력을 도내 기업과 연결하여 현장 프로젝트를 수행하는 동시에 교육생의 취업 및 창업교육과 연계할 예정이라고 했다.

「ICT이노베이션스퀘어 확산사업」은 급증하는 AI 인력 수요에 부응하고 지역 산업계 AI 교육 활성화 및 AI 전문인력 양성을 통한 4차산업 생태계 강화를 목적으로 사업을 진행하고 있다고 했다.

그로인해 인공지능·블록체인 교육생 389여명을 배출하고, 55명이 관련기업에 취업하는 등 교육실적 및 일자리 목표를 초과 달성했다고 전했다.

강원도 첨단산업국장은“전략산업 분야와 부합되도록 지역의 SW·AI인력 수급 불균형을 해소하기 위해 2025년까지 2천여명의 인공지능 실무형 고급인재를 지속적으로 양성하고 지역 산업계 AI 확산 및 4차산업 생태계가 정착될 수 있도록 취업과 창업지원 등에 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
