[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 올해부터 주거취약계층을 대상으로 무주택 세대구성원, 소득 및 자산기준(공공임대아파트 입주기준)을 충족하며 공공임대로 이주가 확정‧선정된 자에게 이사비를 지원한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 사업은 고시원, 컨테이너, 여인숙 등 비정상거처에 거주하는 무주택 주거취약계층의 정상 거처로의 이전을 지원하기 위함이다.

태백시 관계자는 “올해 시범적으로 5가구를 우선 대상으로 하고 지원금이 소액이지만 꼭 필요한 사업인 만큼 주거취약계층의 주거수준 향상에 도움이 되리라 예상한다”라며, “올해 처음으로 추진되는 사업인만큼, 앞으로도 지원대상 및 범위를 더욱 확대해 나갈 계획이다.”라고 말했다.
