[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 3월15일부터 최근 평균기온이 상승함에 따라 동절기 기온 급강하로 부실시공 예방을 위해 지난해 12월 공사 중지했던 공공 건설 사업장에 해제 명령을 내리고 이 같은 내용을 각 사업자에게 통보했다고 밝혔다.

또한, 시는 해빙기에 따른 사업장 내(사면, 터파기 구간 등) 안전사고 예방 조치, 도로 분진예방, 비상연락망 재정비, 사업 조기추진을 위한 사전 행정절차 이행 등 재착공 전에 사전 정비를 철저히 하여 공사 추진에 차질이 없도록 한다는 방침이다.

태백시 관계자는 “최근 따뜻해진 날씨와 침체된 지역경기 등 경제상황 등을 고려해 공사를 재개한다”라며, “이번 공사중지 해제로 지역경제 활성화와 재정 신속집행이 이뤄질 수 있도록 만전을 다하겠다”라고 전했다.
