[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 다자녀 가정의 교육비 부담 경감을 위해 오는 4월 28일까지 다자녀 가정 자녀 교육비 지원 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.

신청은 주소지의 행정복지센터를 방문하여 교육비 지원 신청서와 주민등록등본, 예금통장 사본 등을 제출하면 된다. 

이미 자녀가 교육비를 지원받고 있는 경우에는 재신청하지 않아도 되지만, 상급학교로 진학하는 등 학교가 바뀌는 경우 신규 신청이 필요하다. 

태백시 관계자는 “태백에서 교육비 걱정 없이 아이들을 출산·양육할 수 있는 환경 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
