[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 2023년도 탄탄페이 월 한도액을 기존 50만원에서 30만원으로 하향 조정했다.

이번 결정은 정부의 지역사랑상품권 국비지원 사업의 예산 감소로 기존 월 한도액을 유지하기에는 시 재정에 부담이 되어 기존 인센티브 비율(10%)은 유지하되 월 한도액을 기존 50만원에서 30만원으로 변경하기로 했다.

탄탄페이는 지역소비 촉진 및 지역경제 활성화를 위하여 지난 2020년에 도입되어 2022년 12월 현재 가맹점 수 2,500여개소 및 누적 카드등록수 4만 3천 여개, 누적사용량 1,550억 원이 넘어가며 태백시민들과 관내 소상공인들에게 없어서는 안될 소비수단으로 자리잡았다.
