[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 지속적인 다문화가족을 위한 지원정책의 방향 및 과제를 토의하고자 지난 4일 태백시 다문화가족 자문위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

자문위원회에서는 다문화가족의 안정적 정착 지원, 사회적·경제적 자립 지원, 다문화가족의 건강한 가족관계 형성 및 인권 보호, 다문화가족 자녀의 양육 및 교육지원의 정책과제 등 19개 사업을 검토하며, 다문화가족 지원사업에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 진행하였다.

다문화가족지원 자문위원회 위원장인 김정윤 태백시 부시장은 “자문위원회 의견들을 적극적으로 반영해 다문화가정 지원사업을 계속해서 발전시켜 나가도록 하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
