[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 어린이 건강보호와 미세먼지 저감을 통한 대기환경 개선사업의 일원으로 오는 27일부터 예산 소진 시까지 2023년 어린이 통학차량 LPG전환 지원사업에 대한 신청을 받고 1대당 700만원씩 3대를 지원 한다고 밝혔다.

도로교통법에 따라 대안학교, 외국인학교, 아동복지시설, 교습소, 장애인복지시설 등 총 18종 업종의 어린이통학차량에 해당되며, 자동차등록증 상 용도가 관용이 아닌 경우에만 지원이 가능하다. 

태백시 관계자는 “미세먼지를 저감하고 어린이 등 취약계층의 건강 보호를 위해 시민 여러분들의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
